By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Information We Collect

1. Information You Provide: We do not collect any personal information from users. You are not required to provide any personal data to use the App.

2. Call and Message Data: To provide you with second-line phone number services, we may collect and store call and message data, including:

  • Call logs
  • Voicemails
  • SMS or MMS messages
  • Communication metadata (such as timestamps and recipient numbers)
This information is used solely to provide communication services through the App.

3. Device Information: We may collect information about your device including:

  • Device model
  • Operating system
  • Unique device identifiers
  • IP address
  • App usage information
This information helps us maintain and improve the functionality and performance of the App.

4. Location Information: With your consent, we may collect location information from your device to provide certain location-based features and improve service quality.
You may disable location access at any time through your device settings.

5. Payment Information: All in-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple App Store.
We do not collect, process, or store your credit card details or payment information. Payment data is handled directly by Apple according to their privacy and security policies.

6. User Content: We may collect and store content you submit through the App including:

  • Text messages
  • Photos
  • Media files
  • Other communications sent through the App
This content is used solely to provide communication functionality within the App.

SMS Messaging and Mobile Information

Second Line provides users with virtual phone numbers that enable sending and receiving SMS messages and phone calls through the application.

Opt-In Consent

By creating a Second Line account and agreeing to our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and SMS Terms & Conditions, you expressly consent to send and receive SMS/MMS messages through your assigned virtual phone number. Consent is obtained during account registration before a virtual number is assigned to you.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on user-initiated conversations. Second Line does not send unsolicited marketing messages. Messaging traffic consists primarily of person-to-person conversations and occasional account-related notifications such as verification messages and service alerts.

Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Standard messaging and data charges from your wireless carrier may apply to messages sent and received through the Second Line app. Please contact your mobile carrier for details about your messaging plan and any associated costs.

Opt-Out (STOP)

You can stop receiving messages at any time by:

  • Texting STOP/UNSUBSCRIBE/CANCEL/END/QUIT to any conversation to stop receiving messages.
  • Deleting your Second Line account through the app settings.
  • Contacting us at iappllp650@gmail.com to request opt-out.
After texting STOP, you will receive a one-time confirmation message: "You have been unsubscribed. You will no longer receive messages. Message & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help."

Help & Support (HELP)

If you need assistance, text HELP/INFO/SUPPORT to receive support information. You will receive a reply: "Second Line Support: For help, visit https://secondline.iapplabz.co.in/faq or email iappllp650@gmail.com. Message & data rates may apply. Text STOP to cancel."

SMS Data Sharing & Third Parties

Mobile numbers and SMS opt-in consent are collected and used solely to provide the communication services requested by the user. Second Line does not share, sell, rent, or disclose mobile numbers or SMS opt-in data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
All categories of user data explicitly exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent. This information will not be shared with any third parties for marketing purposes.
Mobile numbers and related communication data may only be shared with telecommunications carriers and trusted messaging service providers strictly as necessary to deliver SMS and voice services. Such sharing is limited to service delivery purposes only and not for marketing or promotional use.

How We Use Your Information

We may use your personal information for the following purposes:

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the App's functionality and services.
  • To communicate with you, respond to your inquiries, and provide customer support.
  • To process your payments for in-app purchases.
  • To send you promotional and marketing communications, where permitted by applicable law.
  • To detect and prevent fraudulent activities, security breaches, and abuse of the App.

Disclosure of Your Information

1. Telecommunications Providers
Your phone number and messaging data may be shared with telecommunications carriers and service providers strictly for the purpose of enabling SMS and voice communication services.

2. Service Providers
We may share limited information with trusted third-party service providers that help us operate the App, such as:

  • cloud hosting providers
  • analytics services
  • customer support tools
These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data.

3. Legal Compliance
We may disclose your information if required to:

  • comply with legal obligations

  • protect the rights, safety, or property of iApp Technologies LLP or our users

4. Business Transfers:

1. Access and Update: You may access, review, and update your personal information through the App's settings.

3. Location Information: You can control the App's access to your device's location through your device settings.

Data Security

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure.

Short Duration Calls

Short duration calls within a month defined as calls lasting 8 seconds or less may be considered a violation of our Terms of Service.
If the percentage of such calls exceeds 10% of your total calls, the associated Second Line number may be restricted, suspended, or permanently blocked.
Short duration calls may indicate spam or suspicious activity and may lead to account restrictions under our anti-spam and abuse prevention policies.

Credit Usage Policy

Under our credit-based billing system:
1 credit = 1 minute of usage, applied based on the country-specific rate for outgoing or incoming calls and SMS. Credits are billed per full minute:

  • 1–60 seconds → 1 credit
  • 61–120 seconds → 2 credits
  • And so on.

We may update credit usage terms when necessary to maintain service integrity and comply with telecom regulations.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. If material changes are made, we will notify users by posting the updated policy within the App or through other appropriate communication channels.
Your continued use of the App after the updated policy becomes effective indicates your acceptance of the changes.
