SMS Terms & Conditions
Second Line
Introduction
Effective Date: 20th March 2026
These SMS Terms & Conditions ("SMS Terms") govern your use of the SMS and MMS messaging
services provided through the Second Line mobile application ("App"), operated by iApp
Technologies LLP ("we," "us," or "our").
By creating a Second Line account and using the messaging features, you agree to be bound by
these SMS Terms, our Terms of
Service, and our Privacy Policy.
1. Program Description
Second Line is a mobile application that provides users with a virtual phone number for communication. Users can send and receive SMS/MMS messages and phone calls with other mobile phone numbers using their assigned virtual number within the App. Messages are initiated directly by users through the mobile application interface. The platform does not send unsolicited marketing messages.
2. Consent & Opt-In
By creating a Second Line account and agreeing to these SMS Terms, you expressly consent to send and receive SMS/MMS messages through your assigned virtual phone number.
Opt-In Method:
- Users download the Second Line app from the App Store
- During virtual phone number purchase, users are presented with and must agree to the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and these SMS Terms & Conditions.
- After agreeing, a virtual phone number is assigned to the user.
- Users can then initiate messages manually within the app by entering a recipient phone number and composing a message.
Your consent is obtained during account registration before a virtual number is assigned to you. You are not required to consent to SMS messaging as a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on user-initiated conversations. Second Line does not send unsolicited marketing messages. Messaging traffic consists primarily of:
- Person-to-person conversations initiated by the user
- Verification messages (e.g., account verification codes)
- Service alerts (e.g., account notifications, service updates)
4. Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. Standard messaging and data charges from your wireless carrier may apply to messages sent and received through the Second Line app. Please contact your mobile carrier for details about your messaging plan and any associated costs. Second Line is not responsible for any charges imposed by your wireless carrier.
5. How to Opt Out (STOP)
You can stop receiving messages at any time by using any of the following methods:
- Text STOP/UNSUBSCRIBE/CANCEL/END/QUIT to any conversation to stop receiving messages from that number.
- Delete your Second Line account through the app settings to stop all messaging services.
- Contact us at iappllp650@gmail.com to request opt-out.
After texting STOP, you will receive a one-time confirmation message:
"You have been unsubscribed. You will no longer receive messages. Message & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help."
Once you opt out, no further messages will be sent to you unless you re-subscribe or create a new account.
